Behind the scenes . . .

Published about 1 month ago • 1 min read

Good morning Reader,

We've been hard at work this past month, working to get out new units, plan upcoming events, and more. Check out the latest news in case you missed it on social media . . . we have a lot to catch up on.

Unsolved Mysteries

Our newest unit, Unsolved Mysteries, is getting close to the finish line and we have released our first lesson as a sample. This unit is one of our most balanced, with almost an equal focus on history, science, Bible, and social studies. It will inspire a sense of wonder and curiosity in your home, give opportunity for critical thinking, and (hopefully) establish a love of learning. Check out the sample below and stay tuned, we hope to launch this unit as soon as next week at some point!

Gathered in His Name 2024

We are hard at work preparing for our 2024 family ministry event. This isn't a homeschool convention, though our books will be available to order there (and our back to school special will be going on at the same time). This will be a time focused on worship, prayer, and (I believe) breakthrough. This year's theme is Restore and I believe God wants to restore relationships, hope, unity, and direction. Kids are free for this event, and included in every aspect of it. We are committed at this point and the costs for rental and sound for our event center are high. If you know you'll be coming, I'd love it if you could snag your tickets earlier rather than later so we can get an idea of numbers—or share it with a friend or your co-op if you already grabbed your tickets. If you can't physically make it, we have livestreaming tickets available as well and you can tune in from home. Check out the promo video below to get a sense for what it will be like . . .

This week, we also did a virtual Bible study: Fearless. If you need some encouragement on how to walk boldly and with faith as a parent, home educator, or even in the steps of obedience God has called you to, watch the replay over on our app.

Keep checking your emails for details and updates and don't miss our live next Tuesday: The Case for Homeschooling (a great one to send to your friends who might be on the fence). Until next week!
